Maguire's family needed help
because he kept digging up the
garden. He now only digs in his
designated area and spends his
outside time playing and
chewing bones.
Darryl's family was struggling
because he was "marking" all over
the house.  He now only eliminates
outside.
      Canine College Degree Program
                 Initial Consultation + 5 Follow-Up Sessions
This introductory program is for puppies and adult dogs.  The first step is for
Florence, our owner, to meet with you and your dog(s) in your home to discuss your
concerns and set a training plan.  Florence will explain and demonstrate how to
prevent problem behaviors, teach you how to read your dog's body language, and
help you begin down the road to a well-mannered companion.  Your initial meeting
will last about 2 hours and will end with you feeling more informed and in control of
your dog's behavior.

During Follow-Up Sessions, you will work together on your specific areas of concern
and your dog will learn basic through advanced commands.  Follow-Up Sessions last
about an hour and are full of hands-on training.  Each week you will be given
homework to work on between sessions to help make learning effective and fun!
When all sessions are complete, your dog will receive a graduation diploma noting
his accomplishments!

                                                 4 Sessions
This "degree program" is for dogs who successfully completed The Tail Wagger's
Club's Canine College Degree.  This is the next phase of training where distractions
are added to basic commands so dogs begin to learn how to listen and be obedient
even when very stimulating/exciting activities are happening around them.  You will
begin to work more outside of the house with your dog to ensure that he
understands what is expected of him even in very stimulating situations.

Molly had major housebreaking
issues before her family called The
Tail Wagger's Club. She now rings
bells when she needs to go outside.
Before O'malley came to The Tail
Wagger's Club Boarding School, he
was a nuisance barker who lunged
out the door when visitors arrived.
He now sits for his greetings and
will "Hush" on command!

Teach the human, train the dog!
Private Training
Dogs (and people) learn best in a quiet, non-distracting environment, so Private
Training happens in your home where your dog is most comfortable.  After you and
your dog have a basic understanding of behavior and training, we can meet at
locations such as dog parks, cafes, or busy shopping centers for follow-up sessions.

Our training programs are comprehensive addressing all levels of training from
puppy issues like house breaking, mouthing, and jumping on people, to more
complex behaviors like separation anxiety and aggression.  Our goal is to teach you
how to train your dog so you'll feel confident and in control no matter where you
take your dog.
The package prices listed below are for non-aggression related issues.
There is a section at the bottom of the page with rates for aggressive dogs.
